Why "allows + Verb ?"
Teachers, please advise me..

in a grammar book, the answer is a. contact, I don't understand. In my opinion it should be "contacting" but there is not in the choices.

tommy_ensr"Contacting" is also a noun, so why is it not used?The noun contact already has a definition for this use, so there is no need to use the gerund, which would be inappropria
