I just have one last question.

He is the man who/whom we admire.

Can who and whom be used interchangeably?

I read in a book that nowadays 'who' is accepted in place of whom and I do not think the reverse is possible.

She met the man who she liked once. Here who is felt all right though whom is the best fit.

She met the man whom broke the glass. This in my opinion is outright unacceptable.
