Hi, Julius. Whom is alright but you should change the word order: When do you buy presents and whom for ? Whom is used as question word for the object while who helps you find the subject of a sentence.

Whom is alright but you should change the word order:
When do you buy presents and whom for?
Whom is used as question word for the object while who helps you find the subject of a sentence.

for who is acceptable only in casual conversation, and even then, it is more usual to say who for. The correct written and formal form is for whom. whom for is exceedingly unusual. I don't recommend it.
