Whose value shows a constant value v. whose value is constant

"It's the determination of a physical quantity whose value show constant value." This sentence seems odd to me so what do you think?

Thank you.

It's odd to me, too. Better is "It's the determination of a physical quantity whose value is constant. " But I don't clearly understand hat it means.
