Whose

Hello,

1. I enjoy telling people about Janet Evanovich, whose latest book was fantastic.

2. I enjoy telling people about Janet Evanovich whose latest book was fantastic.

Which one is correct between 1 and 2?

I think comma is required in this case because of the presence of the proper noun.

Thanks.
