Whom/Who issue. Plus preposition at the end. Still confused. :(

I've been staring at the following sentences for hours now, and I still can't figure out how to say it better. The "to" at the end really throws me off. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

I agree that the condo board members have a say in whom you sell your home to.
Should condo board members have a say in whom you sell your home to?

They're OK. I think I might say "... " whom is correct, but it seems almost too correct here (to my ear), as if the speaker is trying too hard to be correct.

  • It's to whom , but the to is displaced to the end of the sentence, and in these cases it's usual to use who instead of whom .
  • Of course, you can add something like "person" so that you can put the to earlier in the sentence: ...
