‘whom’

Are all sentences correctly written?

1) I am the one whom you spoke with.
2) I am the one with whom you spoke.
3) With whom did you speak, ma’am?
(Do I need to include the word ‘to’ after ‘speak in this sentence?-- With whom did you speak to, ma’am?)
4) Give the job to whoever deserves it the most.
5) Mike was the one with whom you just spoke (to)?
(Do I need ‘to’ at the end of this sentence?)

Thank you.

As to the first sentence, all of these are correct: I am the one [who/whom/that] you spoke with. You won't hear many people say whom, though.

But 'whom', I believe, is correct in the first sentence because 'You spoke with him'.

If you can use 'him', 'whom' is correct; if you can use 'he', 'who' is correct, right? Or am I missing something?

Yes, but whom isn’t appropriate with with at the end of the sentence.

This is interesting! I didn't know that this was a controversial point of grammar. When I attended school, sentences like I am the one whom you spoke with were accepted in my English grammar book. Whe

Cool BreezeMr Micawber's correction was just a lapse of concentration, not his actual opinion.
Not the last time I checked.

Me, too, but recently I have been reading (and agreeing) that it is a rather unattractive mix.

Mister Micawbera rather unattractive mix.
It had never actually occurred to me until you pointed it out a few months ago.
