Whole

Where should I put a determiner - after "whole"\"entire" or before? For instance:

1) I was behaving just like the[should it be cplaced?] rest of the class
2) I did so much damage that the whole my class wouldn't succeed.

Are they correct? Thanks

"the rest" in itself means the entire part remaining or the whole of the remaining amount or number. There is no need to add "whole" or "entire".

I was behaving just like the rest of the class.

Come to think of it, I believe "all" could be used, though, quite nicely:

I was behaving just like all the rest of the class.

As I can see it should have.

Concerning the second - you are right, the first of two your sentences is what I meant.
I can't understand now why I used "would" either...LOL.
