Who or Whom?
In the following sentence, which is correct who or whom?
To the greatest extent possible, they sealed their world from the outside, locking out talk of Jews gone bankrupt and starving, of whom committed suicide with veronal or by jumping in front of the S-ban or out some window.
If it is the object of the preposition of, then it would be whom; but if it is the subject of the verb committed, it should be who. So the question is Which takes precedence the preposition or the verb?
