Who or whom?

Should the TV programme and accompanying books, etc. "Who do you think you are?" be "Whom do you think you are?"

No. Absolutely not. The underlying question is "Who are you?" There is no "Whom are you?" "are" is a linking verb. You can't have anything in the objective case (like "whom") in that kind of sentence.
