Will you help me to change the following sentence in to indirect speech?

Do you mean it as a question: "Who is there for me?"

Assuming so, this is quite an interesting question as it seems there are two possible answers, depending on the emphasis in the original question:

"He asked me who was there for him." (emphasis in original question was on "there")
"He asked me who there was for him." (emphasis in original question was on "is")

Try saying it with the emphasis on "was", and hopefully it will click for you. There are two different ways to ask the original question, with two different meanings (or nuances at least), depending on emphasis.
