'Who do you work for?" VS. "Who do you work under"?

'Who do you work for?" VS. "Who do you work under"?

Can I say either one for the same meaning or in the same situation? Or is there a meaning difference between them? Thank you so much as always and have a good and safe day.

Thank you so much and how about the meanings? I think there is not much difference between them. What do you think? Thank you so much as usual.
