Mr Tan was born in 1959 in Muar Johor. He has nine brothers and sisters and he is no 8th among his siblings. Mr. Tan is not from strong financial family background. His father is a soya bean hawker.
After he finished his secondary school, he started his working life in Johor Bharu as a Estate Management Trainee. Just about three years in plantation and he moved to sales line as a Electrical Salesman. From a salesman he has been promoted to supervisor and then became a smart manager with his stronger ambition.
In 1987, he had transferred to Sandakan Sabah as a Branch Manager and he started his working life in East Malaysia. In 1992 he decided to quick his high income job and set up his own business. He started his souvenir and handicraft shop in Kota Kinabalu.
In 2005 Mr. Tan met a Taiwanese friend who had lost contact for almost 10 years. From there, they inspired to set up jewellery business and became business partner. May be, this is call fate and again he changed his business to only focus on jewellery items.
Mr. Tan concentrates on fashion jewellery which none of Malaysia brand focuses on this line and most of the branded companies or big players are only focus on precious or nature type of Jewellery. He can see the opportunity because in Europe and oversea, fashion jewellery is very famous and get good response from market.
Mr.Tan and Diamoney Philosophy is “Customer come first and Front-liner is King and Queen of company”. Manpower is the most important aspect in a big organization. Everyone in Diamoney has same standard and the only different thing is job responsibility. In Diamoney, everyone is business partner because Diamoney’s advisor also can earn good income as manager level income. That’s means Diamoney is fair to everyone effort and contribution will give them the same reward.
Mr. Tan has very strong point to support how a big organizations can growth smoothly without conflict even though the entire associate from different races, religion and family background work together under a roof. It’s from Chinese wording call”?”mean peaceful, harmony, happiness and everything can bring balancing to human been.
