According to a Carnegin Mellon University's research, the report concluded that the driving attention of a driver decreases by as much as 30% simply by listening to someone over a phone call; therefore the risk of being involved in an accident could be lowered by not making any phone conversation while driving. We should not compromise communication convenience by sacrificing health and safety practice.


There is also a phenomenon called 'Mobile Phone Syndrome'; Users who have this syndrome always think that their phones are ringing when actually they are not. They are constantly checking to see if they have received new mails in their inboxes, new updates for installation of apps, new notifications from social networks like qq, webchat, facebook and the likes of twitters, not to mention countless news feeds from different websites' subscriptions. The list goes on and on.

However, the evolution of mobile phones has brought upon us tremendous changes in our lifestyle. From the fundamental functions of making and receiving calls, sending and receiving text, smartphone these days bring us the functions of multi-media platform with richness. TV, camera, Internet, alarm clock, calendars, online shopping, banking, social networking, games, music, movies and all sorts of information are available. On average, the ratio of number of mobile phones to the population of a developed countries are 3 to 1. We have to embrace technology with an environmentally-friendly attitude which should be noted by all users and service providers. Nevertheless, mobile technology does bring us security, entertainment and convenience and we cannot afford to lose it.
