In this book, in order to study the development of the history of Governing with the News, Ms. L collected and analyzed the data of American press conferences regulations and the press conferences of successive American presidents. Meanwhile, through content analysis of news reports, she studied on the international communication of American, including the methods used by White House to influence mass media and guide the public opinion. She also studied on the methods to output ideas and values and that to maintain international image in the international communication. Lastly, by means of case study, she made a comparison of civil and international communication of America. To conclude, her contribution to this book was irreplaceable, and what she wrote was full of great value for the further research.
