third question b. But i' not sure and these questions are my exam of last year and i will be exam this year from these examples. They are examples for exam .

I agree with your answers for 2 and 3; I wouldn't have chosen d for the first one: you can't use "that" in that instance, although the first part "like" is OK. Try again?

Bingo!

Typhoon #14 was a big bluff for Yokohama-- it skirted us and headed up the west coast of Honshu. Awful wet in Kyushu, though.
