Who blew it? Was it me or her?

Dear teachers...

is the text ok?

We went out, she, her mother, a friend, a girl, a guy and I. We headed to a beach 5 miles from the city. This was supposed to be the mean we could get to know each other, she knows I am interested in her. However, she did not even talked to me. She spent all the time with her girl friends and her mother. I did not know what to do. I just said nothing. I kept my mouth shut the whole time. I am not sure she likes me or she is a bit shy. My question is... Who acted bad? Was it me or her?

Thanks
