Who

My question is: why there's an "s" following some verbs when we use Who to ask something.

For exemplo: "Who needs....?" "Who works...?"

Hi,

because that's the way it is. When particles like "who" are the subject of the sentence, they take a singular verb (3rd person).

Who are you calling? >>> You are calling... who. >>> You are calling... Kevin.

Who is calling you? >>> Who... is calling you. >>> Kevin... is calling you.

In the example in bold, "who" is
