White on a rice/mom

Hi

A few weeks ago I watched a program on TV about martial arts. The coach (American guy) once said a sentence using, as far as I remember words: "white on the rice" , but I don't remember exactly, I suppose it's some idiom which I don't know. Have you ever heard something like this?

Two: sometimes he also said "mom", I guess. To me it sounded a bit like an insult, but I may be wrong and really have no idea what he might have wanted to say by that. He usually used this word when performing some techniques with a partner, but I have really no idea what he meant.

Take care
