"While you were focusing on little things, I was looking at bigger ones."

"While you were focusing on little things, I was looking at bigger ones."

Is the sentence wrong? Some says I should write it to "While you were focusing on the little things, I was looking at the bigger ones." I still think the first sentence is also okay and reasonable. What do you teachers here think?

Thank you a million and have a good day.
