While working for A company as well as B company

Hi,
I have a question about the correct use of "as well as" form.

1. While I was in charge of HR working for A company as well as B company, ~

2. While I was in charge of HR working for A company as well as "for" B company, ~

Which one is correct?

Many thanks in advance for your advice! Emotion: smile

There is no need to repeat "for."

To my mind, both sentences sound awkward.
More natural is
eg While I was in charge of HR for A as well as B . . .
eg While I was in charge of HR for both A and B . . .
