WHILE with past and future PLEASE HELP

Question

1 The FBI will find out that she wasn't the one leaking the information because she'll be in a holding cell while someone else leaks/is leaking/will leak/will be leaking info.
2 .... she was/would be in the holding cell while someone leaked/was leaking info.

is "she will be in the holding cell" the FUTURE tense of "she was in the holding cell"
is the PAST of "will be" "was" or "would be"

when would you use

"she would be in the holding cell"
and when would you use

"she was in th holding cell"
-----------------------------------------------------

Is the following correct?

She would come to kill him at the end of the film. (do you use this tense when recounting an event?" when do you use it?

Here's how I would do it:

1 The FBI will find out that she wasn't the one leaking the information because she'll [she will] be in a holding cell while someone else leaks/is leaking/will leak/will be leaking info. Both verbs in the main part of the sentence have to be in the same tense--future. In the clause, I would use is leaking but will be leaking would be ok.

2 .. she was/would be in the holding cell while someone leaked/was leaking info. The FBI found out that she wasn't the one leaking the information because she was in a holding cell while someone else was leaking info.

is "she will be in the holding cell" the FUTURE tense of "she was in the holding cell" YES

is the PAST of "will be" "was" or "would be" Was. Would be is future, like will be. "I will be [would be] rich if I win the lottery." You could say "would have been in the holding cell" to express a past event.

when would you use

"she would be in the holding cell" She would be [placed] in the holding cell for 48 hours by the FBI to determine if she was the one leaking the information.

and when would you use

"she was in th holding cell"
She was [placed] in the holding cell for 48 hours to determine if she was the one leaking the information.

Is the following correct?

If your are stating that something happens at a future time then, yes, you would use would, but you could also say will. However, would is often used to express a condition: She decided that she would kill him if he leaked the information.
Hope this is not too confusing. I don't know of any good rules for deciding on the appropriate verb form for a particular sentence. Maybe others can help.
