WHILE BEING or WHILE SHE WAS

How would you say this please?

She sang while being recorded.
She was recorded while she was singing.

A better way to say this would be "Her singing was being recorded." It's not really "she" that's being recorded, it's her "singing."

my sentence would be: her voice was recorded while she was singing( or her voice was being recorded while...). Then, you can see that 'her voice' and 'she' can't be the same subject, so i think 'being recorded' could not be used in this situation.

another example to compare: He was reading while lying on the bed (he was reading while he was lying on the bed.)
