While watching the nature, they were listening to Mrs Gimma's information about different kinds of vegetables and plants.
I wondered if I rewrite that sentence like the sentence in the following, would it be grammatically correct?
While they were watching the nature, they also were listening to Mrs Gimma's information about different kinds of vegetables and plants.

Mister MicawberWhat are they 'watching'? A garden?Mister Micawber, actually no, They went to the forest to observe plants and get information about them and recently I have understood that Vegetables are wrong because they are human made and can not be in forests.
