Which would you say?
Which sentence is ok?

1 Do you want to know what he thought while you choked him.
2 Do you want to know what he thought while you were choking him.
3 Do you want to know what he was thinking while you choked him.
4 Do you want to know what he was thinking while you were choking him.

Can you tell me what you think of these sentences please? How you would correct them?
  • The island is so big that half the island is night and half is day./half is in the am and half in the pm. (science fiction movie)
  • It seems like/as if you like pulling my leg.
  • This store is 10 dollars cheaper. (what's the opposite of "10 dollars cheaper" in this sentence? 10 dollars more expensive"?)
  • We've run out of chocolate would you like something else in its place?; maybe caramel?
  • The terapy caused him to get the use of his legs back./He got the use of his legs back because of...
