Whichever one of you

Dear sir,
I would like to know which is the correct pronoun to use in the following sentences:

1. Whichever of you has (his or her, their) money may settle this account now.
I would choose (his or her) but I am not sure the grammar rules that apply.

2. A student should see an advisor if (he, they) have any questions.
I would choose (they) because the auxiliary verb that follows is plural.
