Which word to use in each of the sentences PLEASE HELP

Could you please help me correct these sentences? If some can be said, could you reword them please?

1 How long does this movie go on for/last?
2 The last paragraph is about/on ...
3 I seem to hear/ be hearing things.
4 She is a perfect fit for the role./She fits the role perfectly.
5 How heavy/big is this file? (computer file)
6 This box is 3 times heavier than/as heavy as...
7 She has such little style/such ugly style.
8 What position are you in (in) the tournament?

4. Either would be acceptable here.

5. How big is this file - Heavy refers (generally) to physical weight

6. Either would be correct here also.

7. She has such little style

8. Here you do need both occurrances of the word in since each one relates to a different part of the sentence. The first 'in' refers to the position you hold in the ranks of the tournament; the second is connected to the phrase 'the tournament'. Although you could say:

What position are you, in the tournament. It sounds awkward and there would be a need to provide a noticeable pause in speech between the 'you' and the 'in' to let the listener know the 'in' belongs with the second half of the sentence (notice the comma) . . . the sentences flows better (when spoken) to have 2 'ins' in it.
