Which word should I use in this case?

Hi, everyone!

Please answer me the following question.

A: "Put what do you think in this textbox."

B: "Sure!"

Then.

1: "There are no letters."

2: "There are no words."

3: "There are no characters."

4: "There are no tests."

Or, I should use "There is" instead of "There are".
