Which word should be used as an alternative?
What word can we use if we want to describe that: "by their help they got the victory?" Like: "They got victorious?" or what? I don't know how to find a good alternative of this sentence.

You can say "they achieved victory" or "they were victorious" or, more simply, "they won."
