Which is correct please?

I can't imagine what she's going through./must be going through.

I bought a jacket just in case it got cold.

Both versions of the first sentence sound natural. You hear 'what she's going through' and 'what she must be going through' in equal measure; the first suggests you have more certainty that she is having a hard time, the second that you presume that to be the case. It's pedantic, though.
