Which word is correct?
He needs a little less/fewer than 100 points to win.
If they are to win/going to win,he needs to play better.

Anonymous He needs a little less/fewer than 100 points to win. I would accept both but I think less is more common even though points is plural. Anonymous If they are to win/going to win,he needs to play better.
