WHICH WAY WOULD YOU WRITE THESE 2 SENTENCES?

How would you write these 2 sentences?

1 The computer didn't give me a heads up before it shut off because it had run out of battery./Why didn't the computer tell me it was going to turn off before it did.

2 You are very short for someone who's a size 30 waist. Why can't you be a little thinner. Finding clothes would be easier.

Could I either say "How would you write these 2 sentences?" and "Which way would you say or turn these 2 sentences"

Thank you
