Which vs Who / DIES vs WILL DIE (3 sentences)

Could some please help me pick the right word?

- Which person did this?/who did this? (what's the difference?)
- Will we know who dies/will die/is going to die?
- Isn't it the least bit suspicious that he's been gone so long.

Thank you

1a) Which person did this? The number of people who could have done it is defined or known, e.g. which of the 3/4/5/6 people did it?

1b) Who did this? The number of people who could have done it is undefined or unknown, i.e. it could have been anyone.

2) I would find it more natural (and colloquial) to say, "Do you/we know who dies?" or "Do you/we know who is going to die?".
