Which vowel sound do native speakers use in 'would' in this question

When the question: "How would I know?" is pronounced which vowel do native speakers use in 'would', the short / ? / or the schwa / ? / ? I think 'would' is an auxiliary verb in the question above and it's usually reduced.

In my normal speech I think I would pronounce the vowel with its full value. When I say it more quickly or carelessly, it tends to become "How ?d".
