So, I've been invited to interview at the UN in Vienna in their Communications section as an Editor. One of their major requirements is that the incumbent speak English as their "native" language. I'm native born American; so I speak American English.
They've further informed that I'll be given an editing test. The dilemma: which version of english do I use when editing: British English or American English... Between the two languages, there are many spelling differences. (Note: Their web site appears to use the Britsh version of English.) So, should I bone up on British English, or stick to my American English? Thanks for answering...

Hi, It's hard to say. They didn't specify BrE, from what you tell us. I'd be inclined to just stick with AmE.
