Which version is better
I wrote 2 sentences:
"Historical documents show that Vietnam was a large cultural community which formed around the first half of the first millennium BC and flourished in the middle of that same millennium."
"According to historical documents, the early culture in Vietnam started with the Bronze Age Ðông Son culture which formed around the first half and flourished in the middle of the first millennium BC."
Which one is better? Can you give me some reasons as it would really help.
