Which version? I'm upset, because I try hard...

I'm upset, because I try hard to please my boss only to be put down constantly.

I'm upset, because I try hard to please my boss but am constantly put down by her.

Which do you prefer? Or do you have a preferred rewrite and why?

Thanks again
