Which verb or preposition to use in sentences please?

Could you please tell me which word to use or how to say them please?

- Don't judge someone on appearances or by/on the way they eat.
- Do it now that way were not wasting time./so we're not wasting time.
- I was/got charged with murder./I was/got charged 100 dollars.
- The rented out the whole (of the) 4th floor.
- I put a years worth of cash/salary aside.

- The doctor took a proper look at the patient./The doctor properly took...

- I had to declare it stolen/as stolen/it was stolen.

- Do it now, that way we're not wasting time. ????
- I put a year's worth of cash/salary aside. (are both CASH and SALARY OK?)???
- The doctor took a proper look at the patient.
- I had to declare it stolen/it was stolen.
