Hi,
Which transitional adverb should I use to combined these two sentences?
"The current clinical therapy for patients with UC is based on the usage of aminosalicylates, immunosuppressive medications, and TNF-a blockers; however/ although, long-term use of these drugs is associated with mild to severe adverse reactions, which limit their use."
Thanks!

By the way, "usage" is a wrong word there. It should be "use". You will find dictionaries that disagree, but all that means is that some of us do not accept "usage" there, and that is enough to condemn it when "use" makes everybody happy.
