Which tense should be used here?(present perfect or past simple?

Hello,

Could you check my sentences, please?

He's in hospital because he has broken/broke his leg.

I've known her since we have been at school together.

It's ages since we spoke.

It's been ages since we heard from Dave.

The last time I saw Fran was ages ago
I haven't heard from her lately.

I just didn't have the time to go to the cinema recently

I have been busy for the past fortnight.
She has been away for the last two weeks.
This is the first time I was here.

He's in hospital because he has broken/broke his leg. - I'd say "broke" but "has broken" is not unacceptable.

I've known her since we have been at school together. ... since we were...

It's been ages since we last spoke. -- It's possible that Americans might use "spoke" while other dialects might prefer "have spoken."
