Which tense is correct?

Hi
I'm writing a report a bout an event that took place last week; I used a combination of present perfect and simple past. Is it correct, or should I stick to using either only?
' All the beneficiaries have been informed about the date of the course that took place in the hall of the bishopric. The hall have been provided with all the necessary equipment required for the success of the course. At the end of the course certificates were distributed to the participants..."

Because of the final sentence, the text should be all in past tense: All the beneficiaries were i nformed of the date of the course in the hall of the bishopric. The hall was provided with all the equipmen t necessary for its success. At the end of the course, certificates were distributed to the participants.

  • Because of the final sentence, the text should be all in past tense: All the beneficiaries were i nformed of the date of the course in the hall of the bishopric.
  • The hall was provided with all the equipmen t necessary for its success.
  • At the end of the course, certificates were distributed to the participants.
