Grammar

Which sentences are the grammatically correct and make sense?

1. I was having dinner, talking with my wife.

2. I was having dinner and talking with my wife.

3. I was having dinner as I was talking with my wife.

4. I was having dinner while talking with my wife.

I think 1 2 4 are okay, except 3. But 2 sounds awkward. The best choice would be 1 or 4.

They are all OK. However, I think the focus is odd in 3 and 4. I'd prefer this: I was talking with my wife [as I was / while] having dinner.
