Which sentences are correct? verb tense

Hi,

Which sentence(s) are correct? Any difference in meaning?

Thanks.

1. If I had stayed there longer, there was no chance I could have escaped the tsunami.

2. If I had stayed there longer, there would have been no chance for me to escape the tunami/ of escaping the tsunami.

3. If I had stayed there longer, there would have been no chance I escaped the tsunami.

4. If I had stayed there longer, there would have been no chance I could have escaped the tsunami.

I though the sentence above was a bit wordy,for having consecutive "would have" and "could have".

But I guess it is all right.
