Hello there
Could you tell me which sentence is correct and why (or rather why not)? Or may you guys help me to build up the correct sentence? That would be so lovely.
1- I'm very much looking forward to attend with you your sister's wedding.
2- I'm very much looking forward to attending with you your sister's wedding.
My boyfriend's sister will marry in October and I would like to express him my appreciation that I will be able to attend with him together... Hope you understand what I mean.
Thank you for your help.
It should be "look forward to doing something". ) Therefore #2 is correct, but the positioning of "with you" is not very natural. I would say: I'm very much looking forward to attending your sister's wedding with you.

It should be "look forward to doing something". (Increasingly I seem to hear people saying "look forward to do something", but to me this is wrong.) Therefore #2 is correct, but the positioning of "with you" is not very natural. I would say:
I'm very much looking forward to attending your sister's wedding with you.
