Which sentence is the correct one?

1) She can sit there without talking.

2) She can sit there without talk.

3) She is interested in reading the Odessy.

4) She is interested in read the Odessy.

1) She can sit there without talking. This is correct. But to me it sounds a little unnatural.

I prefer this : She can sit there if she promises not to talk or She can sit there if she quiet.

3) She is interested in reading the Odessy. This is fine.
