Which sentence is grammatically correct?

The courier company has tried to deliver the above shipment yesterday, but there is a payment of duty and tax on the shipment. Please arrange the payment as per the details attached.

'details attached' is the normal word order. However, you can't use the present perfect "has tried" with a mention of time "yesterday", so please omit "has": The courier company tried to deliver ... yesterday, but ...
