Which sentence is grammatically correct?

Mr. Sean has requested us to cancel his annual leave application tendered last week, due to his personal reasons

He mentioned that he will use this leave next year and there will be no effect on attendance.

Mr. Sean informed that, due to personal reasons, he wish to withdraw his leave application and he will re-apply it in next year. He will continue on duty and there will be no effect on attendance.
