Does it need to be "you" as a pronoun in the objective case after the preposition? If so, I wonder whether the reflexive "yourself" has the objective case in English and as such can be used in the prep

My problem is that I cannot understand quite what is intended. They were bought by 'you', not anyone else? They were bought by 'you' with no help? Why would you be telling 'you' what 'you' did? Doesn't 'you' already know what 'you' did?
