Which sentence is correct?

1)Sorry for being late.

2)Sorry for be late.

3)I'm protecting it from being destroyed.

4)I'm protecting it from be destroyed.

5)I keep on having silly dreams.

Do we add "ing" to the word anfter prepesitions?

Hi bassa, I prefer this: Sorry for being late I'm protecting it from getting destroyed. Keep having silly dreams. Verb adds to itself 'ing' after prepositions - In such a case the verb acts as a gerund.
