Both seem all right to me.

The first concentrates on your own ownership of a penthouse. It almost seems to focus on some sort of memory lapse, as if you had forgotten that you owned a penthouse. Alternately, maybe you inherited a penthouse unbeknownst to you, but a friend of yours found out and is asking you about it. At this point you disclaim any knowledge about owning it.
